Reframing Anti-semitism: Alternative Jewish Perspectives

Description

9 essays from members of the venerable Jewish peace and justice organisation, plus one from Judith Butler reframe the debate on the middle-east, and anti-semitism. “The eloquent testimonials in this myth-busting book are crucial reading for everyone concerned about Middle East peace.” – Middle East Report “Jewish Voice for Peace has done us all a great service by publishing this smart little book, which shows nicely how the charge of anti-Semitism is used these days to silence Jews and non-Jews who criticize Israel’s policies in the occupied territories.” – John Mearsheimer, Professor of Political Science, University Of Chicago
